Maria Theresa M. Ramos, known as Theresa, is the Head Laser Therapist and Aesthetic Beauty Therapist, overseeing the Aesthetic Department at Amwaj Polyclinic. With more than 20 years of professional experience in Dubai, Theresa has extensive expertise in aesthetic treatments, laser services, and personalised skincare and body treatments.
Theresa earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Perpetual Help Rizal, Philippines, in 2002, and has also studied at the University of Sharjah.
Throughout her career in Dubai, she has developed a deep understanding of individual client needs, allowing her to provide professional, personalised, and results-focused aesthetic care.
Her areas of expertise include classic facials and deep cleansing, skin rejuvenation and hydration treatments, superficial peeling, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and body contouring, smoothing, and slimming treatments.
As a Laser Technician, Theresa specialises in laser hair removal for all skin types, applying appropriate techniques and professional protocols to provide comfortable and effective treatments tailored to each client.
